Why?
There are so many reasons to join! Most of us know barbershop musicians will sing anywhere, anytime, and totally enjoy it. We are proud of our chosen talent and are eager to learn and share our ‘passion’ with the women of the world. Our singing brings us a sense of accomplishment but when we see true emotion on the faces of our audience, we know we have touched their hearts.
Over the years we have been grateful to perform for local events. One of our favorites is Sturgis Falls, a music festival that brings people from all over the United States for a very special ‘hometown’ memory. Every 4th of July we entertain the crowds before the fireworks and patriotic concert in the park. We have sung at the Performing Arts Center at the university in conjunction with the Waterloo/ Cedar Falls Orchestra. Christmas caroling on main street sets the tone of the season and springtime for entertaining seniors with memories of the past only adds to the enjoyment of how we feel about our music.
